This is WHY.

So, picked up the car and headed towards Látrabjarg. Weather didn’t seem on our side as we started moving, it was a fine drizzle.

Schade. Well, but on our attempt up norh, we saw many Icelandic Horses! Managed to stop near a hill where they all were, and got some nice pictures

They are the most amazing creatures I must admit! They were so friendly, friendlier than dogs in my opinion! As I approached them slowly, they started coming towards me as well! Check it out!

And as soon as 1 came, the rest came and started snuggling up to me, biting and nibbling all parts of me, one even took my phone! They tried their best to grab my camera as well haha, such cuties! They were just so peaceful, grazing on the grass all over the highlands.

And when I backed up to get a picture, they followed.

Just so adorable! So it was pretty hard to get some decent pictures, and by this time the rain was immense! I could just watch them for the whole day. Everyone should try to spend some time with these lovely creatures! They are just plain fascinating! By the end of it, they were just so comfortable with me, they ended up posing for me

Well, had to leave them to head to our destination, which was all the way up in the west fjords! Started driving and next we arrived near a fjord, but we skipped going round it due to the weather, and went in the tunnel under the sea, pretty cool stuff! Ended up along the coast, saw some greenery and yeah to my dismay, we decided to turn back towards Reykjavik and drop Latrabjarg, so NO PUFFINS! The drive was just too far and the weather wasn't looking good! My biggest regret I must say, for this trip.

Back in Reykjavik, I met up with Jill to try to catch the sunset again in Reykjavik, but it wasn’t as nice, compared to the one the day before, yeah, it was still raining as you know.. So rest up at Snorri’s and prepare for the next day! South coast here we come!

Got off the plane at Keflavik, and just breathing in Icelandic air, its AMAZING! Took a bus to smokey bay, where I met Snorri! He looked so different from the photos, I could barely recognized him without his beard ha! The first place we went was the perlan! Crazy view of the city!


The moment I set foot here, Iceland has already taken my breath away. And that night, the sunset from his apartment just amazed me.

The next day, headed down town to Laugavegur, but the weather wasn’t in my favor, so, walking in typical Icelandic weather, raining the moment I stepped out till I got home. So basically I was drenched the whole day! Went to Mai Thai and the store lady was so friendly, that I even just stopped there to have a chat with her! Didn’t do much due to the weather, but did grocery shopping, to cook Bak Kut Teh for Snorri! That night, I met a god – Odin. HAHA, neh, his Snorri’s nephew! What a name right? And we saw an amazing sunset from his apartment again! Some of the pictures i took today.

Really interesting seeing this! ha, GOT.

And then i decided to get the legendary Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur!

Well, this sausage definitely is..

It was so good! I just can't describe the taste to you, you have to try it on your own! But this cute little bugger i met was so much more amazing!

Its so fluffy!!!

Snorri is just so amazing, the stories he tells, just never ceases to amuse and cracks me up everytime, without fail! He is just this guy with so many stories and experiences that I feel I aint living my life to the fullest. I came with an empty glass, but meeting him (the encyclopedia of Iceland), my cup is now overflowing constantly! Im learning something new every moment im with him! He even cooked me an Icelandic dish, check it out!


And yeah, he IS a busy man! Finally, this is what you get!

This time, with better weather, I managed to explore Reykjavik properly! My favorite store is this photography store, where this guy shoots with film and he sells all his photos. They are just so stunning, it speaks to you. But I just couldn’t afford one urgh. Film photography, it just has a soul, digital just cant compare to it, if you know what I mean. Wish I could do something like this one day, but who knows, what the future holds, for even the wisest are unable to see it.

And i also took a walk along the bay and got some shots!

Snorri took me around his usual grocery shopping the next day and everything I saw/tried/eaten just blew me away! I even bought something - LAVA SALT. ZOMFGD right? Ahhhh! Im going berserk right now! Kill me now, how can I ever leave this amazing country. Some of the photos i got, while he was showing me around the viewpoints and his grocery shopping ;D

I REALLY LOVE ICELAND TO DEATH I MUST SAY. But yeah, its time to leave Reykjavik, to explore ICELAND! :D Here we go! See you guys in abit, im going off the grid for a week! Ciao~

Back here again, in Berlin! And it was Céline's first flight!

The first thing i must say that this is pretty hilarious! A singaporean restaurant with singaporean food. Check it out!

Well, we came during Myfest and headed to Kreuzberg to join in the fun! Pretty intense, with concerts all over and protests everywhere!

So we had nothing to do on a Saturday, what other better way to spend it? Get drunk, GERMAN STYLE!

decided to head to Bad Canstatt for the frühlingsfest in search of nirvana, ha! But first the mandatory group shot before it all went haywire!

Haha what a crazy guy!

The 2 most awesome people i met there!

Somehow along the way, my camera was passed along and people started taking so many random shots, selfies and this was pretty much what it was like!

Normally, i don't even drink that much beer, but i had no idea, how i was able to drink 3 maß here! It was incredible, personal best i must say! Standing on the tables, singing out loud and just drinking, making friends! Ha, oh the memories!

The next big trip is here! To meet the best dutch tour guides

Maurits picked me up from Schiphol and headed back home! I was screaming the whole way on the car, the scenery was indescribable. It was not how i had seen it before, as compared to the last time when i was here in Amsterdam. The open fields and the tulips were so pretty!

Got to his place and his mum made me Tostis. Said i would only eat 1, ended up eating.. wait i lost count. Ha! (Sorry i don't have pictures of any, as i always devour them before i could possibly take a picture of it).

Toured around before heading back to Schiphol, to pick up the other Singaporean and to meet Tim! :D
Saw quite a bit of Amsterdam, and of course the rijksmuseum, since the last time i was here it was under renovation!

The paintings, they have a soul, its like they spoke to you! They were so real, that it was chilling!

And then we were off, driving into the sunset, onward to Texel! :D :D :D

Took a ferry across

and had the best lamb ever for dinner!

when we got to the house, a wild rabbit was there waiting for us! This place had the most wildlife I've seen in my life! Its endless! Sheep, Goat, Cow, Horses, Seals, Rabbits and the list goes on!

The next day, we headed out on a shrimping boat! :D Shrimp never tasted that good!

and of course we had the pesky seagulls!

and of course we ate herring!

Pretty sad that when i was there, the weather wasn't in my favour, so i couldn't get nice photos! But i guess this was the best i got, from la bastille!

Took a weekend road trip, to Mosel and Rhein!

Did a few stops before we finally arrived at Cochem! Saw the town of Zell and Bremm!

Sadly no wine came out of this!

Even managed to get a star trail with the vineyards!

Explored Cochem the next day! First stop, Reichsburg Cochem!

The view we had from the Castle itself,

and the many stuff we saw in it and the pretty cool fence!

Then we walked around town

and stumbled on this wine cellar, which was supposedly one of the oldest here!

This castle was amazing, tucked away in the forest, undamaged from the war and IMO the best castle in Germany! Just look at it!

the tour was by far the best! But we weren't allowed to take pictures, so you guys have to go there yourselves to see it!

Went to the river nearby and saw the dogs enjoying themselves

Took a day trip close by of Ulm to Blautopf!

Walked to our destination and saw a few amazing sights along the way!

Yeah, this doesn't look right, haha then we walked further and it was as true as what they said! Its blue as it can be! I dare say even more than the sky!
